I’m Rosa Angelica- The mind behind the magic that occurs at Archway Portraits. Just a girly who one day decided to do photography as a hobby and here we are now! I am based in Southern California, from Sunny San Diego.
I am 27 and love finding new little corners to take my crazy clients who are always willing to follow me anywhere. I’m a fair believer that when you follow your dreams with a full heart and work hard for them, anything is really possible. No idea is ever to crazy for me, I am always down to make it happen whenever and wherever. Send me all those ideas you have!
I have one philosophy and a very simple one. I always want to capture moments that usually last seconds and hope to romanticize that instant, and in return give you a forever memory. From golden sunny beaches to golden dreamy mountains, I will travel to give you your perfect picture.

What i love ABOUT being a
Photographer
Some of my favorite things about being a photographer is the flexibility that it brings me to be able to balance mom and wife life.
Photography has allowed me to explore and visit new locations, which has to be my favorite part. I now go to places I would have never gone to alone before and now it's like “ a 30 minute drive? No problem let me grab a cafecito and put Zach Top on and I'll see you soon”. Photography has really brought me out of my bubble if you will.
Another thing that I love about being a photographer is getting to meet so many amazing, sweet, caring, funny, and unique individuals and families. On a weekly bases I am either meeting complete strangers in the middle of the no where or meeting my now friends who were once new clients, to capture yet another milestone in their lives. And honestly I wouldn't have it any other way.
And Lastly, the only thing over all that I like about being your photographer is, having the ability to tell your story through my lens, With my vision, and your story, we will create beautiful memories.
Archway portraits style
My style for Archway was inspired by my passion for the mountains and muted colors. I feel that nature has so much to offer, giving me endless possibilities of backgrounds and inspiration. I am also a very simple person, I love all the muted colors and it’s something that I focus on while shooting. From looking for locations that will help me create this vision to suggesting to my clients what to wear, in order for me to deliver them those dreamy photos that they want. The beach during blue hour has to be one of my favorites because this is where I can deliver that effortlessly. But the mountains will forever have my heart.
